It is important for college students to make better informed decisions about their future career paths based on historical data. As a result, I created this chart to help students in the Pamplin College of Business better understand what they are committing to in terms of a major. Other colleges and universities would be wise to share this info with students to prevent from underemployment and to communicate realistic expectations of programs.

I was recently asked to be a guest on Roanoke, Va Cox Media’s monthly local cable show Connections (hosted by Kim Stanley) to discuss the job search process using new/social media. Still only 6-10% of people get jobs online. Social media is no substitute for face-to-face job searching yet it cannot be ignored. Thanks to Cox Media for this opportunity to chat about this topic.
